GMH Music is a multifaceted business based in the Macedon Ranges run by G. Michael Hall and Gabriel Macura, offering vocal and performance coaching, production studio, mixing and mastering, vocal, piano and orchestral arrangement, choral arrangement, drum programming, recording, song writing, backing tracks, on hold music and a range of other business assets.
Born in the US, G. Michael Hall has been involved in every aspect of the industry, from theatre production on Broadway to touring with live rock and contemporary artists like Paul McCartney, U2, Talking Heads, KISS and many more.
Now based in Australia, G. Michael divides himself between writing, producing, arranging and mixing- working alongside Michael Stavrou (Sir George Martin, Aretha Franklin, Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney) and working with Australian artists like Lisa Gerrard and Brett Garsed. He has become a master of his craft and is greatly sought after for his signature style.
A Victorian College of the Arts voice graduate, Gabriel has recorded classical and original albums and performed as an opera singer and original contemporary artist in Australia and abroad whilst expanding her skills as a composer and orchestral arranger.
Based in the Macedon Ranges Gabriel divides her time between her work as a singer, song writer, composer and arranger, vocal and performance coach, and her local community projects with the not for profit organisation Safe Space Performances Ltd which she created to nurture singers and instrumentalists in the performance environment.
Safe Space Performances Ltd is a not for profit organisation established at the end of 2019 which provides the Macedon Ranges community with an all ages, all abilities, socially inclusive performance practice space.
Safe Space facilitates solo and group projects for people to explore and further their skills as performers whilst strengthening their bonds in their community.
